UC San Diego Space Science and Engineering Minor

This program provides an interdisciplinary experience and education for undergraduate students in space science and engineering. Two courses have been developed that are designed primarily for science and engineering majors at the upper division level. Quantitative and analytical, rather than purely descriptive, they are the core sequence for an interdepartmental minor in Space Science and Engineering.

Space Grant has played a key role in establishing the minor in Space Science and Engineering. This has lead to the new major in Aerospace Engineering within the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department (MAE). Both programs are growing each year.
