Los Angeles now has a Metro system called Metro Rail.  You can take the Metro from near the hotel, change trains at Union station and go directly to Hollywood.

The Metro stations are new, clean and each station has it's own art theme. You can preview the art at each station on the web.

The closest Metro station from the Sheraton is located at the stop Del Mar on the Gold Line. The station is 1/2 mile from the Sheraton, and the hotel shuttle will drop off and pick up hotel guests.
